As a Canadian (and one who comes from the East coast at that -- seeing as how our men just did well in Torino and all...), I feel obliged to say "Curling rocks!"
(Secretly though, I just don't get it... but don't tell any of my countrymen/women, OK? I might get stoned to death...)
Well... I hope they don't attempt to stone you with one of those "curling rocks" they push around on the ice. They look heavy!
But don't worry, we're not telling anyone, and nobody reads our blog anyway, right Sissy?
PS. Since you brought it up, Torino is my second hometown (or my "mothertown" if there is such a term). I would have been there for the Olympics, but some things came up. Well, I was at the Athens Olympics, so I can't complain. Torino is cool!

[... but what a great cover this would make for AIR's next album...]
It definitely has an aesthetic, but I think you have to be Minnesotan to really get it.
