Hmm. Don't know. Unless you don't like red. My colour sense is a little off sometimes (you can tell by the way I dress), but it seems OK to me. How about those two plugs up high to the right? Are they supposed to be there. I haven't been able to figure out who the electric plug system works here in Greece. Why do they put them so high?
Hey, thanks for pointing out the design flaws of my kitchen. So many!
I know. I asked for it, didn't I?
Well, those things aren't what I had in mind, but I guess (I'm about to say sth really sexist) it would take a woman to spot the real problem. Or at least sb who's actually using the kitchen and not just looking at a picture.
(The problem has since been fixed, btw.)
The red tiles I can't really explain. I chose them thinking they would look nice with the floor... which is green. At least I've got my advanced state of pregnancy and the pressure of fixing an entire house in a month to blame for my color sense being off.
As for the plugs, the carpenter was supposed to hang a box there under the cabinets for the microwave. If that had happened, at least one of the plugs would have been perfectly placed. Instead, I ended up with a nice "coffee corner" with slightly conspicuous plugs. And that's not the only mistake the carpenter made (look left).
Well, as I said, the colour looked fine to me, but I don't trust myself. The plugs weren't actually "wrong" since that's the convention here. I mean, next to my bathroom door, on the outside, in the hall, I have a plug about five feet up on the wall. What did they think I was going to put out there? A fridge?
I looked again. I had noticed the first time that the top drawer was a bit thinner. It may be on purpose, but being a guy, I wouldn't know.
Also, the counter is higher than the stove, which I only noticed this time. My guess is that that's the problem. I guess you put something under the stove to raise it.
Is that it? Do I win a prize?
(We looked at a lot of kitchens this summer, which was an educational experience for me.)
Yeah, that's it, the chasm between the counter and the stove (the drawers, btw, get gradually thicker/deeper as they go down). The irony is that the carpenter had gone on and on about how the height of countertops (and stovetops, dishwashers, etc) has been studied and standardized to a height ergonomically perfect no matter the height of the user. And then he went and made the whole kitchen about 3 inches higher than that height. Oh well. The upshot is that the cat still hasn't dared to jump that high, but he will. Eventually.

I was going to say that the only thing wrong with the picture is that your kitchen is way too clean!
So smart! (The pic was taken before I moved in. There won't be another one now.)
And I was going to add that although it is a kitchen, there doesn't seem to be any food in it!
But I suppose that problem has also been fixed...
